With relationship science—and my expertise, because I have 20 years of experience as a dating and relationship therapist and coach, and I have a unique perspective to offer. As a couples therapist, I saw first-hand what worked in relationships and what didn’t. Sometimes clients came in too late to save their relationships, and I figured the better way to prevent divorce, breakups, and unnecessary relationship dissatisfaction was to focus on singles. So armed with research and experience, I have been teaching my singles the information and skills they need to not only choose a partner wisely, but to make sure their relationship is healthy and lasts.
Choosing your partner is the most important decision you will make in your life, but unfortunately the vast majority of singles date based on feelings and similar interests. Feelings are not the best indicator of who is a good fit for you, and research shows that sharing similar interests has little to no bearing on whether a relationship will work. It’s one of the many reasons why the dating app algorithms don’t work.
So you can put aside your desire to have someone who has your similar taste of music or love of tacos and margs. Instead, I can help you figure out who’s a good romantic fit for you based on what actually works.
